My clients can pay for the cost of their sessions with:

Clinical Service Fees
In line with all professional industries, my service fees are adjusted from time to time. This new fee rate is effective as of AUGUST 2024.
INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING:
My standard fee for counseling services is $175 for a 60-minute individual therapy session. Individual Sessions lasting longer or shorter than the standard hour are available at a rate of $87.50 for each 30-minute individual therapy interval or $43.75 for every 15-minutes.
COUPLE’S COUNSELING:
A couple’s session intake is approximately 90-minutes and costs $295.
For a couple, this first session also includes the cost for you and your partner to take an on-line research-based questionnaire that will help me carefully assess your relationship’s strengths and vulnerabilities. The questionnaire is only available in English through the Gottman Connect website.
My standard fee for couple’s counseling services is $200 for a 60-minute couple's therapy session. A couple’s session lasting longer than the standard hour are available at a rate of $100 for each 30-minute couple's therapy interval or $50 for every 15-minutes.
Couple’s sessions are not available for less than an hour.
Only Kaiser Permanente Insurance is Accepted
I only accept clients who have active health insurance coverage with:
KAISER ( with an external referral from the Kaiser psychiatry department only. Please contact the department of psychiatry at Kaiser to request a referral to me.)
With insurance, costs vary on what might be your co-pay, deductible or financial responsibility for your first and on-going sessions. Please call me to talk about your own unique coverage plan or speak with Kaiser member services if you have doubts. I verify coverage eligibility before our first appointment to avoid any unexpected costs for you. It is your responsibility to stay insured while we work together to avoid interruptions in service, please.
INSURANCES I DO NOT TAKE INCLUDE: Optum, United Behavioral Health, Blue Shield, ANTHEM, UHC. or MAGELLAN.
How can your insurance pay for your services?
In most cases, if you would like to work with me, your insurance may reimburse you for any out-of-pocket expenses. Please call your members services department and ask about your out-of-network benefits and whether they can reimburse you directly for your expenses. I can provide you with a professional invoice/receipt after you pay me, that may allow you to get reimbursed by your insurance directly.
Groups and Classes
Classes on varied psychology and self-help topics like mindfulness, anxiety management, interpersonal effectiveness, or assertiveness are offered throughout the year. These classes are typically one-time presentations lasting 60-90 minutes long and can cost up to $50 per person.
Client groups are offered throughout the year that focus on varied topics such as social anxiety management, support groups, or coping skills and can cost up to $50 for a 90-minute group session. My groups are limited to no more than 8 members at a time to allow ample time to personally address everyone involved. These groups are usually on-going for 4-6 weeks at a time.
Payment is Expected the Same Day of Service
Fees are collected at the beginning of each session. When a client cannot afford a session or is unable to continue therapy due to financial constraints, we will discuss treatment options for each particular case.
